Cloudtag is a simple app allows you to share “Images, Audios, Files, Zips, Clips” with your friends and families within your same network and internet connection.

How to Install Cloudtag on Ubuntu?

You can install the Cloudtag application on your Ubuntu system using the Snap Package Installer. Snap comes default in the later versions of Ubuntu 16.04. If your system misses the Snap Package Installer and then follow the below command to install it.

Note: Snap is pre-installed on Ubuntu 16.04 and Higher Versions and however, it can be installed using sudo apt install snapd

Wait for a few minutes, the installation process will be completed. Then follow the below steps to install the Cloudtag application on your system.

  • Open the Terminal
  • Copy the command, paste the command and execute it to install the application
$sudo snap install cloudtag

Wait for a few minutes, the installation process will be completed.


This application can be installed through the Ubuntu store. You can use the button to launch the Ampare application on the Ubuntu Store.

You can directly install Cloudtag application on your system without any commands.

How to Use Cloudtag App on Ubuntu:

Launch the application by searching as “Cloudtag” on your systems “All Apps Menu

Then follow the below steps:

  • The Cloudtag application will appear on your screen

  • Now you need to create a “Hashtag

  • Now drag and drop the files on the application

  • Now, your friend needs to launch the same application and search for the hashtag “tecrobust” to connect and access the file

Remove/Uninstall Cloudtag from Ubuntu:

You can easily remove the application from your Ubuntu system. Use the below command to uninstall/remove the Cloudtag app from your Ubuntu system.

$sudo snap remove cloudtag
