What is a Ping?

The following are the commands that have to be used to install gping Linux on Linux Ubuntu Unity 18.04.1 LTS and Linux Mint and other Ubuntu-based Distributions.

$   sudo apt install snapd

$   sudo snap install gping

$   snap connect gping:network-observe

Syntax: $   gping target_name

Here, you can able to specify your targets as IP address.

Syntax: $   gping IP

Example: gping 172.24.26.35

  • min- minimum round-trip time(milliseconds)
  • max- maximum round-trip time(milliseconds)
  • avg- average round-trip time(milliseconds)
