By default, Ubuntu will not show the battery percentage on your system and there is no predefined option to enable the battery percentage. To achieve this, you just need to install the utility “Ubuntu Tweaks” on your Ubuntu 19.10 version.

Install Ubuntu Tweaks on Ubuntu System:

Follow the instructions and command we mentioned below to install the Ubuntu Tweaks on your Ubuntu system.

$sudo apt update

The above command will update all your installed apps and Ubuntu base.

$sudo add-apt-repository universe

The above command will add the repository on your Ubuntu 19.10 system.

$sudo apt install gnome-tweak-tool

The above command will help you to install the Ubuntu Tweaks utility on your Ubuntu 18.04 and 19.10 systems.

Launch Ubuntu Tweaks:

Once the installation process finished you can find the Gnome Tweak utility in All Apps Menu.
