eatime timer app is a simple “Alarm or Remainder” App. Once you set the timers and it will start the countdown once it finishes the countdown then it starts alarming to remind you. There are many Timer and Alarming app available for Ubuntu but this TeaTime Timer app will not overload your pc as it is a simple alarming application.

Install Teatime Timer on Ubuntu 19.04 using Snap:

With the help of snap, it is very easy to install the Teatime timer on Ubuntu 19.04, You just need to copy the below codes and paste it on the terminal of your Ubuntu and then click “Enter” to execute the command. Then the Teatime timer app will successfully installed in your system. You can access the Teatime timer from the “All Apps” menu. In the below list you may able to get the installation command for all the version of Teatimer.

Note: Snap is pre-installed on Ubuntu 16.04 and Higher Versions. If you using Older version or for any reasons, use the following command to install snap manually.

$sudo apt install snapd

Install the TeaTime Timer App on Ubuntu and Ubuntu-based Distros:

$sudo snap install teatime

How to Install the TeaTimer app using GUI- Using Ubuntu Software:

If you are a Beginner and if you don’t want to get into terminal things then this is the best and easiest method to install this app on Ubuntu.

Note: Ubuntu Software is available from Ubuntu 16.04 and higher versions users can install apps using this store provided the apps are available.
  • Go to All Applications.

  • Search and Locate Ubuntu Software and Open it.

  • Click on the Search Symbol that is available on the Top of the Window.

  • A Search bar will appear now. Search for TeaTimer.

  • Once you locate the application, Click on that and Choose Install.

  • Kindly wait for the application to install.
  • Once the installation is done, you can Launch the TeaTimer Application from All Applications.

How to Remove TeaTime Timer from Ubuntu 19.04:

$sudo snap remove teatime
Remove TeaTime from ubuntu

The above command will remove the Teatime timer app from your Linux PC. It will take a few minutes to remove.

TeaTime Timer Usage:

Once you installed the application, find the app from the “All apps” and open it. Then give the name & remaining time for your remainder. When you are set and then click the “Start Timer” button. Once you start the timer, the application automatically minimizes to the launch bar and the simple loading bar will load in the icon which shows the remaining time.

Once the remaining time got completed, The app will ring a “Bell Sound” effect which will let you know that the set time has been completed. You can see the popup appear on the right side of your screen which contains the Alarm name and the alert.
